Lucerne European Vascular Master Class 2025

January 22 – 24, 2025 Vascular International Training Centre at “Residenz Am Schärme” in Sarnen, Switzerland

The masterclass workshop provides excellent hands-on experience on pulsatile realistic models to perform open straight forward and complex aortic repair, endovascular aortic reconstruction, carotid endarterectomy and distal bypass surgery as well as virtual simulation for carotid, iliac and renal interventions (20 CME Credits).

Dear Colleagues and Delegates,
on behalf of the faculty and organizers, it is a great privilege and honor to welcome you to the European Vascular Masterclass in Lucerne. For years, this unique workshop has proven to be a very effective postgraduate training method for vascular surgeons. The techniques that are demonstrated are part of the fellowship of the European Board of Vascular Surgery (FEBVS) exam. The success of this European Vascular Masterclass is based on its focus on practical training on state-of-the-art infrastructure and the intensive supervision by a multi-lingual team of European tutors who have a vast experience in both vascular surgery and teaching. The close tutor-student interaction guarantees an intensive learning process. You will operate in pairs of two, using original vascular grafts, sutures, endovascular tools (i.e. wires, catheters, balloons, stents) as well as abdominal and thoracic endografts. The training atmosphere is relaxed and discussion is encouraged.
